Use of Positive Reinforcement Training

I have trained hundreds of pet dogs over the past 30 years. My positive training methods produce great results without the need for choke chains, prong collars, shock collars or other types of physical correction and punishment. Research shows that dogs trained using these methods are generally more socially balanced and well adjusted, making them better family members.

Small Class sizes

Classes and workshops are small in size, (4-5 dog per class depending on the age of the dogs) and held at my private training center. All of my training, including classes, is available 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) and times are varied to accommodate your busy, changing schedule.

Puppy Class 1

Here’s how you can start your puppy off on the right paw! For puppies 10 to 18 weeks at the start of class.

Puppy Class 2

For puppies 18 weeks to 8 months.

Pre-Requisite: 

Must have completed a Puppy Class 1 within the last 4 months.

Refine the skills that you learned in Puppy Training 1, including the three control positions, (and how to stay in them) and Loose Leash Walking.  Continue building your engagement, and communication skills and learn to cultivate strong attention and motivation with games that build impulse control in your young adolescent pup.

Basic Manners and Obedience.

This basic manners and obedience class is for pups over 18 weeks old and adult dog who have never taken a class or might need a refresher course.

Private Dog Training

Kelley’s K-9 Camp offers private in-studio and outdoor training. All ages, sizes, and breeds are welcome. 

Board and Train

Let Kelley’s K-9 Camp help you train your dog of any age in a home environment where they are a part of the family. They will get socialization and enrichment, while learning the skills they need to live their best life with their forever family.

Day Stay and Train For All Dogs Of All Ages

Day Stay and Train is a great alternative when you want your dog to have a Board and Train experience, but you want your fur baby home at night to play and snuggle with. 

If your busy schedule makes it difficult to commit to group training classes, you can bring your dog to Kelley’s K-9 Camp for a full day and then pick them up in the evening.  

Your dog will receive three to six private sessions, (depending on age and attention span), lunch and snacks, and some free time for play. 

You drop your dog off in the morning and when you pick up at the end of the day, I will review with you what he/she has learned and give you homework instructions to carry on with their new skills!
